A new Czech escape

Copper, malt and four and a half centuries.

Pivovar Grand Casino Hotel is a fictional destination built inside a working Czech brewery that has made beer on the same spot since 1573. Copper kettles, timbered fermentation cellars, sacks of Žatec hops and the warm smell of malt run through the whole building, and the casino hotel was fitted around a brewery that never actually stopped.

Watch the morning brew from the gallery. Walk the cool lagering cellars cut into the rock below. Then climb up into our adults-only casino salon in the old bottling hall, warm under copper light with the coppers still working next door. Everything in this casino hotel smells faintly of malt, and every guest agrees that is exactly as it should be.

Hospoda Restaurant

The beer hall, done properly.

Our signature restaurant is a proper Czech hospoda—long timber tables, unfiltered lager poured until you say stop, and food built to go with it. Roast pork with dumplings and cabbage, beer goulash, smoked meats, fried cheese and the dark tank lager that never travels well and so is only ever drunk here, a few steps from the casino hotel salon.
